This volume of the Official History of The Great War covers the little-known Togoland and Cameroon campaigns, in which British and French-led African troops took over the two German colonies. The Togoland campaign was wrapped up in August 1914, while the Cameroons – where natural obstacles and hazards were severe – ended successfully in February 1916.
