Stormtration® Stormwater Oil & Sediment Filter DamSock: SPL092

Description The Story Behind Our Oil and Sediment Filter Sock One of our customers is a large airline that requested a product that would do the following: Be heavy enough to ensure the wind or jet engines on the runway, taxiway, and apron did not blow it away Hug the contours of the ground and effectively dam up a spill Should it be raining, be able to filter the rainwater and hold onto any oil or fuel So we went to work designing an absorbent sock that effectively filters oils, fuels, sheen, silts, sediments, trash, and debris out of stormwater. The Stormtration® Oil & Sediment Filter DamSock is: very moldable and flexible stays in place – will not blow away in heavy wind or wash away in the rain great for reducing Total Suspended Solids (TSS) at or around outfalls made from post-consumer waste UV Resistant and ideal for outdoor use Implement as a Stormwater SWPPP Best Management Practice (BMP).
