Early 20th century Italian copper weathervane with three-dimensional dolphin

Description A rare Italian weathervane from the early 1900s, crafted from copper, with a three-dimensional structure and a dolphin motif. The figure is modeled with remarkable decorative quality and appears suspended in elegant motion, as if caught in the moment of leaping. The curved body, elongated snout, dorsal fin, lateral fins, and forked tail create a dynamic and harmonious silhouette, instantly evoking the marine world. Unlike more linear traditional weathervanes, this piece has an almost sculptural presence. The lower section retains the axis with the letters of the cardinal points, while the copper surface features a beautiful natural patina, in burnished and oxidized green tones, highlighting its authenticity and timeless charm. A rare decorative object, ideal for collectors and for spaces of character. Measurements: 70 cm wide x 70 cm deep x 90 cm high.
